The chart below shows the standard axle configurations available as Arocs. As well as being available in left and right hand drive, many of these configurations are available in different variants:
Other options are available making the vehicles even more configurable - for example steering rear axles on 6x2 and 8x2 vehicles, and to tailor the vehicles to suit your application even more precisely, our Custom Tailored Trucks (CTT) service can provide vehicles to special order in even more configurations.
To get traction on difficult terrain, flexibility is the key. With this in mind, off-road focussed Arocs come with a high strength but highly flexible frame. A width of 744 mm and 8 or 9 mm fine grained high strength steel give a chassis designed to perform – and to last. For use predominantly on-road, Arocs is also available with a frame 834 mm wide and thickness of 7 or 8 mm, making it more rigid and offering the perfect combination of driving dynamics, torsional flexibility and payload.
A complete offering of wheelbases at 300 mm intervals, plus freely selectable rear overhangs and a full hole matrix on the chassis rails means that Arocs is configurable for your application right from the start, reducing bodybuilding costs and delays, without any requirement for modification.
